So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the Saints, and members of God’s household built on the foundations of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord. You also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2: 19-22)
As a baptized and confessing Christian, you belong to the worldwide church of Jesus Christ – no matter which denomination you belong to.
In our “Temple” you will meet brothers and sisters of diverse nationalities and confessions. Here rigid dogmatism1 – no matter of which kind – will be rejected as well as atheism2, syncretism3 and secret teachings4. Thus, you will not be pitched in confusion. Never forget that you are the Temple of God yourself. Be faithful to the Church of Jesus Christ and to the biblical creed:
Anyone who does not remain in Christ’s teaching but goes beyond it, does not have God. The one who remains in that teaching, this one has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home, and don’t say, “Welcome,” to him; for the one who says, “Welcome,” to him shares his evil works. (2. John 9-11)
