DIVINE VIRTUES
The so called Divine Virtues are faith, hope and love. These are called divine virtues because they not only come directly from God, but also relate directly to God. For it is God Himself in whom we believe, and it is His omniscience and omnitruth that causes us to believe; It is God himself in whom we hope, and it is in his omnipotence, goodness, and faithfulness that we hope; It is God Himself whom we love, and it is His infinite goodness and perfection that we love Him.
